"Having visited your website I have acquired valuable information. Any  information that you can provide relating to the above topics, or websites that you can suggest, would be much appreciated."

"Having spoken to a variety of people, I thought it would be wise to speak to you, as a potential 'contributor' to the 'documentary'. I do hope that
you are able to help me"

"Dear Mr. Manser,
By virtue of your knowledge on the general subject of hooliganism, you are potentially in the way of being my utter savior, as you may be able to direct me to some information I've yet to come across on my own.  My name is Kathleen Riddell.  I'm a senior at the University of Mississippi (having been back only a year from a semester at the University of Edinburgh) and I am writing a thesis on Glasgow's Old Firm rivalry"

"Hello, my name is Nick Morgan and I'm a reporter for Bloomberg News, a US-based international news organization that supplies about 400 newspapers worldwide.

I'm doing a feature on soccer hooliganism in the light of the World Cup and whilst researching I came across your web site. I've already spoken to a few experts and I'd be very interested to hear your views."

"Hi,
My name is Emily and i'm just about to start my final year studying sociology at Loughborough University. I've been looking at your website and am having a few problems getting on to the link sites, therefore i was wondering whether you would be able to give me some helpful pointers about where to find information to aid me with research for my dissertation. "hello robin,
i am doing a project for school in which i have to research the bad or ugly side of sport. i would appreciate if you could tell me why there are violent spectators and what causes them to go around beating people up and vandalising things when their team loses.

"In my freshamn english class we are researching a topic and writing an essay that proves a point. Because of my love for soccer, I want to research something dealing with this sport. The most debatable issue I could find and think of was hooliganism. I am writing to you becasue you know a lot more than me. My real intent right now is to determine a question that I will try to answer with my thesis and essay. Would you mind helping me with my efforts int his study? I just need either somewhere to start or a good point I can try to prove through my own studies and through others' like yours".

Thank you.

"Dear Robin,
I was wondering if you might be help. I was interested in writing a feature about female football hooligans, but everyone I have spoken to about it reckons it's the most ridiculous idea ever because they don' exist .  I just assumed with more and more women taking an interest in football and with the increasing reports of violence by women in the media that there must have been some women involved in football violence.

I had a look on your website under women and the feminist study of football violence but couldn't find anything.  I wondered if you could point me in the right direction, if there is indeed a direction to be pointed in?"

Daisy Price (Women's Own Magazine)
"Robin Manser's home page http://www.hooligansfootball.homestead.com/ contains enormous amount of information on the topic titled Research into Football Violence (Hooliganism!)
Here are some excerpts from the research.

According to the research hooliganism started rather early. If you are interested either soccer or hooligan, I strongly recommend you to visit the site."

News Reporter (Japan)
"Hi Robin,
Thank you for such a prompt reply.  I didn't expect when I thought of researching this topic that I would come across someone who has been researching it for so long. I was absolutely stoked when I found your website.  Your website is excellent and I have recommended it to all my friends who are football fans. I seem to have converted a lot of people over here to the world game" (Australia)

"A truly excellent website Sir, full credit shall be extended to you for any references that I might apply to my argument. Very well organized. " (Pranay Sammeta USA)
